SUMMARY:Festival of Words 2025!
DESCRIPTION:April 5th\, 2025\, from 8:00AM – 3:00 PM presents 2025 Festival of Words!  Festival of Words is an event for everyone with a chance to meet and greet popular authors from elementary\, middle and high school books. Also\, presentations for parents\, educators\, and librarians will be available.  Keynote speaker Jason Reynolds will add to the many exciting authors you will encounter.  Many literary organizations and resources will have tables as well to enhance literacy up and down the state.  A free lunch is provided for everyone who registers to attend. This year’s event will be held at Woodbridge High School\, in Greenwood\, Delaware and Registration will be opening shortly.  Check out our progress  HERE

DESCRIPTION:What does it really mean to teach decoding? In this replayed session\, Julia B. Lindsey unpacks how to teach decoding purposefully and systematically — from phonemic awareness to decoding of both single and multisyllabic words to meaningful application. Learn how to support all students in developing strong word-reading skills from simple to multisyllabic words.
